Living Life by Design

Hi all!

After a 9 month break (maybe that’s significant?)  from writing a blog, I am returning to blogosphere!

This blog is now on it’s own domain( vs the wordpress.com site). That may not be significant to most of you, but it is significant to note that the address is now http://www.livinglifebydesign.com (instead of livinglifebydesign.wordpress.com)

The site will change significantly over time. I am tired of waiting on me to get this off the ground, so we’re just going to go for it! As a designer, a website is never done. Clients tell me when their site is good to go. When I am my own client, it’s never done! So..the site will be a work in progress… which is a lot like us in life! As we continue our discussions and discovery on Living Life by Design, we are all a work in progress. It reminds me of something I read today: “In reality, we never stay as we are, we either grow or we shrink.” May this blog be a part of challenging all of us to grow and walk more and more into our unique design.

Just to give you a preview of thoughts I have for upcoming posts:

• my simple rules of life (instigated by a John Maxwell teaching)
• living out what’s important to you
• thoughts and questions about some of the things I’ve read over the past 9 months that have to do with living life by design
• a series of posts that will hopefully be a ‘book discussion’ (that means I’m hoping you read along with me). I may also have other material available (CDs and workbook) that will go along with this book discussion, for those that are interested.
