Quotables from Lifehacker

Quotes

I love quotes. Quotes succinctly capture a big idea in a very short sentence — at least the quotes that have impact. Quotes make you stop and think.  I was thrilled when I found the ‘Quotable’ posts on the site lifehacker.com site recently.

Here are some thought-provoking quotes from their site. If you click on the quote it will take you to that specific post on lifehacker.com. Each quote post includes an image (which makes it all the more intriguing) and a brief and interesting write up. I encourage you to check it out.

“What Would You Attempt to Do If You Knew You Could Not Fail?”

“Inspiration exists, but it has to find you working.”

“If You’re Not Making Mistakes, then You’re Not Doing Anything.”

“Tomorrow Is Often the Busiest Day of the Week”

“You Can’t Cross a Chasm in Two Small Steps”

“Ideas Cause Ideas”

“Don’t Let Thinking Get in the Way of Your Game”

“Put Down Your Burden of Perfection to Get to the Real Amazing Work of Your Life”

“You’re the average of the five people you spend the most time with.”

“Working on the right thing is probably more important than working hard.”

On the Lifehacker site, I haven’t found a way to just go to the Quotable section, so try putting the word ‘Quotables’ in the search field to find a group of quotes.

What are some of your favorite quotes?
